The American Chemical Society (ACS) announced the appointment of Emily B. Kunchala as its next ACS treasurer and chief financial officer (CFO). She succeeds Albert G. Horvath, who moved into the role of CEO on Jan. 1. Kunchala joins ACS from The Research Foundation for The State University of New York, where she served as CFO and VP of finance and administration since 2016.
